BERC runs a number of programs in collaboration with UC Berkeley and the larger Bay Area community.

BERC Innovative Solutions (BIS) connects local companies, non-profits, and government agencies with multi-disciplinary teams of UC Berkeley graduate students for semester-long consulting projects.

Students for Environmental Energy Development (SEED) gives UC Berkeley students the opportunity to develop and teach an energy and resource-focused curriculum to East Bay primary school students.

The Cleantech University Prize (CUP) –  The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Cleantech University Prize (Cleantech UP) aims to inspire the next generation of clean energy entrepreneurs and innovators by providing them with competitive funding for business development and commercialization training and other educational opportunities.
