Academics Team
The Academics team is primarily responsible for planning and running MBA 294, the Clean Energy Speaker Series (CESS) course at Haas, which takes place each fall semester. Besides CESS, the team also works to build connections across the Berkeley energy and climate community, including faculty, labs, and climate change centers.

Events & Programs Team
The Events & Programs team manages all events and programs associated with BERC. This includes BERCshops, case competitions, and the Climate Change 101 kickoff event at the beginning of each fall semester. Events & Programs also spends time supporting the Summit, Symposium, and Membership teams.

Finance Team
The Finance team oversees BERC's financial resources, which entails both budgeting and cashflow management. They also are responsible for managing the BERC debit card and club expenses. Lastly, Finance works to secure grants that supplement our sponsorships, such as GRSO funding and TGIF grants from Berkeley.

Marketing & Analytics Team
The Marketing & Analytics team manages all of BERC’s external communications. This includes the monthly blog, the BERC website, social media channels, and general branding. The team also uses analytics to grow engagement with alumni and current students. Finally, the team helps promote the events and ongoing activities that BERC is engaged in.

Membership Team
The Membership team is responsible for recruiting and engaging BERC members. This includes distributing the BERC Dispatch to our members each week, organizing social events, and collaborating with student liaisons at different graduate programs to boost BERC participation across the university. The Membership team also manages BERC's mentorship/buddy program.

Sponsorship & Careers Team
The Sponsorship & Careers team manages the range of sponsors that support BERC financially, which entails strengthening BERC’s sponsor portfolio, managing sponsor and alumni relations, and encouraging donations. They also work actively with BERC alumni to expand industry representation. The team also partners with Finance to secure additional grants from Berkeley, such as GRSO funding and TGIF grants.
On the careers side, the team serves as a proactive link between the BERC community and climate leaders, mentors, and companies in the Bay Area. This includes monitoring and sharing job opportunities within the BERC Slack workspace and the Dispatch, as well as planning career panels and networking events.

Summit Team
