BERC @ ERG
Who We Are
BERC@ERG welcomes all new and old Energy & Resource Group students: join our community of ERG students who are connecting with researchers and professionals around Berkeley's campus, and the Bay Area more broadly, to collaborate on cutting-edge energy and resource issues.
ERG is a hub for energy and resource issues. Since its inception in 1973, ERG has excelled at crossed boundaries and forged relationships between departments across campus.
With the number of energy, sustainability, and resource initiatives at Berkeley growing rapidly, BERC@ERG builds on ERG's expertise to help ERG students find new collaborators, as well as useful academic, professional, and funding-related opportunities. BERC@ERG also connects the ERG community to a growing number of Bay Area professionals and innovators working actively in the energy and resources field.
What We Do
- BERC@ERG publishes an annual list of energy and resource courses offered at departments and schools across Berkeley's campus.
- BERC@ERG hosts a range of events that serve the BERC and ERG communities, ranging from intimate conversations with practitioners (such as Paul Valva of the Climate Project) to dialogues with other students (such as a roundtable on choosing courses in Energy and Resources).
-
BERC@ERG serves as a communication hub, informing ERG students about relevant campus or community events, and publicizing ERG events
to BERC members.
