BERC Team Takes First Place at Renewable Energy Competition
BERC leaders Rohan Ma, Dan Stotts, Dave Hirsch, and Josh Lich received first prize at University of Michigan’s Renewable Energy Case Competition this past Friday February 3rd. The team developed a creative solution to integrating renewables onto the electric grid, and presented their proposal to judges from companies including: General Electric, Duke Energy, Detroit Edison, and SOLAR RESERVE. The BERC team competed against MBA students from 16 top schools throughout the country; ultimately advancing into the final round against Dartmouth, Columbia, and Duke.
